"If Facebook would let me give more than 5 stars, I would. We have nothing but good things to say about Dakota Land Design-Kyle, Lee, and crew. From the beginning of the design process, shopping for a lot that would fit what we were looking for, to putting on final touches, Kyle worked with us to dream big dreams of what our home could be but then also helped us make cuts where we needed to when keeping it in budget was important. He gave us ideas or suggestions when we looked for them but then was open to doing something a little different if there was something we wanted to try. In the end, we ended up with a home we will love for many years to come while also not looking just like every other house down the street. Kyle listened to what we were looking for and had an attention for detail. He also communicates throughout the process so we were always aware/involved in any necessary changes, delays, etc. If you’re searching for a contractor for your build, stop now. You have found him! We had multiple sub-contractors or product suppliers comment when they learned we were working with Kyle: things like “he is so great to work with” or “he is the best contractor I’ve done work for and I’ve worked with them for 40 years.” Kyle was very personal and intentional throughout the process, we felt cared for through the process and that he truly cared what the outcome was. Customer service and satisfaction at Dakota Land Design is second to none. At the beginning of our build, my wife Cindy and I were amazed by the creative ideas and innovative concepts that Kyle and Lee utilize in their custom home designs. At the end, we were equally amazed by the level of custom craftsmanship that was attained to complete those very same ideas and concepts.
As excited as both my wife and I were to have the construction of our home come to an end, we were equally saddened to see it all end. In the beginning, we entered into an agreement to build the house of our dreams our way and Dakota Land Design helped us accomplish that goal; and for that we will be forever grateful. "Building a home can be a big undertaking, but working with Dakota Land Design made the process very enjoyable. Dakota Land Design was very helpful when planning the floor plans by taking the time to really understand what we were looking for in a new home. They were also able to help us personalize our home with some very creative ceiling trays along with some unique handmade railings. The collaboration during the building process made it very easy for us to know what decisions needed to be made and what would be happening next. Overall, we had a excellent building experience and built great friendships through the process. Thank you Dakota Land Design for giving us a beautiful new home that we love."
